I love great Alphabet illustrations. I always have. Maybe it’s the type nerd in me.

I ran across this (below) the other day, and it made me really happy.

Full of quippy definitions and hipster vectors, this alphabet rocks.

And it’s hilarious.

Here are some more of my favorites (not in alphabetical order).

I hope you get a kick out of this Alphabet.

Now go be hipster cool. I’m going to listen to The XX.

My friend, Carla Jean, sent me a little treat via email this week—a beautiful poster dedicated to a designer’s first love, typography. I think I might just have to get a copy…it will go perfectly in my dream studio (still in progress, in my head).

Thanks, typography. You truly are swell, and you make life so much more interesting.

I’m really liking the work of Dan Sweet. He’s an illustrator and graphic artist, and he’s definitely got some skills. I discovered him on Smashing Magazine, and I really enjoy the way that he mixes elements such as illustration, typography, and texture. Check him out.

I loooove these cows. I know that it’s immature to do that many ‘o’s in a word, but that is the only way that I can tell just how much I love those cows.

I really like these illustrations mixed with the photography. Look at the fan. Awesome.

Get out and ride a bike.

How gorgeous are these illustrations by C.S. Neal? I fell in love with them when I found them on mintdesignblog. He’s a big deal illustrator, designer, and teacher by day at Pratt. I think I’m a little obsessed.
